It was a bit of drama the last week, something happened. On
April 8th, day 60, two fine males were born by Caesarean section.
When they came home four hours old, the three-colored weighted 206
grams and the blue-merle weighted 263 grams. After about three days
we felt that the crisis was over.
They have from birth been very lively and persistent, real "survivers",
but had in the beginning no access to enough food. It was too little
milk coming from Alice, but after revisiting the veterinarian and an
injection of oxytocin it reversed. They have developed slowly and
the increase of weight has been positive. At five weeks of age they
were as "normal" collie puppies.
The two guys with strong will of life have been given dignified name.
I have previously read some of expeditions to the South and the
North Pole. Likewise, the Polar Year have been attracted attention
and finished in April 2009. Two strong men, U.S. researchers, was
the first to the North Pole, Arctic, April 7, 1909. With sleigh dogs
and Inuits, after difficult conditions and hardships, they reached
their goal.
Their names are Robert Peary and Matthew Henson. Peary received many
awards for their efforts, while Henson in the beginning was in "the
shadow" because of his skin color. Henson was an Afro-American. He
was compensated later on in life.
Their interesting history is to be read in many books, and online.
Quite exactly 100 years later Alice both Arctic Explorers were born
and received the names Skyelice Arctic Explorer Peary and Skyelice
Arctic Explorer Henson.

Peary & Henson 7 ½ weeks.
There are two very
promising, great guys with a strong will of life. Nothing is impossible
for the two Arctic Explorers!
They love to fetch, jump, run and discover everything new! They enjoy
going out to find new areas. When we took them to the water rushed out
and Henson did not reach the bottom but had to swim a little! Jump over
the fence they learned quickly, incredibly fun. They run, run - the race
in the house, out on the terrace and the garden / nature.

The father and
mother:
Even this time we have chosen a very nice male - social, open courageous
dog with good health, good anatomy for balanced movements. We believe it
will be beautiful dogs, which works well in both the living environment
and work.
Both parents have a large portion of properties as playfulness, working
capacity and they are social. Both have good nerves, is available, proof
to sounds and shots, and have no problems with the floors and surfaces.
